Oh hello,

As some of you have noticed, it has been pretty quite around the Bureau lately.  The reason for this is because all Bureau projects,  including The Ink Initiative Project have been put on hold due to the fact that I have recently been laid off from my senior art director role at Red Tettemer. During this time I have been hard at work updating and designing a new personal portfolio site that will be used in my search for new employment.

I initially designed a site and my friends at CINQ Partners offered to help me out and handle the site development. Unfortunately half way through the development(in which they were doing a great job),  I decided that I needed to make some changes to the look, feel and motion of the site so that it better represented myself.  So I turned to my friend Chad from Steam Powered Designs, who was responsible for development of the Ink Initiative website.  As usual, Chad came though and delivered a quality developed site that was exactly pixel perfect to my design.

So now the site is finished and launched(although there is still a slight issue with it in IE browsers…surprise!) and my resume is updated, it is time to finally start looking for new employment. The sooner I am able to find work, the sooner I will be able to turn my time and attention to Bureau related projects,  specially the Ink Initiative.

The first two volumes of our very first print have sold out.
Due to demand, we have decided to print a third volume. The first two volumes featured the type over laid on top to mimic some of the posters seen in urban settings. This time we chose to design and print it closer to a two color super hero poster from the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. The “running man” is featured on top of the type and this poster uses two of our most popular custom colors: “Oscar The Slouch” and “Eat Your Greens”.
